Edmonton, Alberta, April 6th, 2020. Java Holdings Ltd (Java) announces the acquisition of Rivard Enterprises 2004 Ltd (“Rivard”), an Okotoks based Utility contractor with 20 years experience in the utility construction and maintenance market. Servicing clients from Fort McMurray to Calgary, Rivard is a 20 year veteran of the energized utility construction market. Owned and operated by Chris Berry, Rivard joins the Java Group to help augment Java’s expansion back into the utility and oil and gas markets of western Canada.
Alex Budzinski, VP Operations North America for Java added, “We’re excited to get back into the utility markets with the purchase of a long standing utility construction company like Rivard. We have worked closely with Chris in the past with our previous business and look forward to continuing that relationship moving forward as we tackle bigger and broader markets”.
With active contracts in the oil and gas sector as well as utility contracts in Western Canada, Rivard will provide a base of operations for Java’s utility construction infrastructure.
